Gorgeous park! Plenty of parking. Fields very well maintained. Bleacher seating with shade. Can bring chairs and tents. Concessions available. Can be a walk if you have a lot of stuff or need assistance. Admissions took card only. Concessions took both cash and card. Clean restrooms.
Kudos to the maintenance and administration team, they are great ambassadors for the local hospitality industry. It was a great time for our Lyons team. Let's go Lyons
We enjoy biking around this place. Plenty to see to include huge dog park. Nice parking with restrooms. Multiple parking areas.
UPDATE: Kids playground has been fix.
Kids playground is horrible and it's been like that for a while. Now the dog park looks beautiful and it even has a shaded area. Sad animals get better things then our little precious humans. I have seen them charge $10 for airbands p/p. Give our kids a decent place to play and probably make it for that bigger kids can enjoy it too. Now the soccer and baseball fields are beautiful and clean. This is a Beautiful park though. I will update once they fix the issue.
Me and some friends normally come to this park to pass the ball around but, there’s this big white guy in a single cab f150 that tells us off and threatens to trespass us as well as saying it’s private property and then he turns on the sprinklers and then announces something on the intercom.
Wonderful soccer facility. Great fields and clean restrooms and good concessions
The fields were nice and the staff was nice but it was very expensive to get in and the concession stand wasn’t open for the first game of the day is the last game of the day and a few days in the fryer was down and lots of the food was gone with days left for the tournament. It’s summer and hotter than heck and there isn’t anything close by to stop at. It would be nice to be well stocked.
Lake Myrtle Sports Park is conveniently located. I find it to be super clean and welcoming. There is not a super long walk from the parking lot to the fields. The concession stand is centrally located with a decent menu offered. I didn't go into the restrooms- so unfortunately I cannot comment on them. The bleachers have a canopy for shade which is helpful on the super hot and sunny days.
